INFORMATION FOR THAI’S VISITING THE UK
Please note that it is the British Foreign Office in London which is ultimately responsible for deciding if a particular foreigner is to be granted a visa to enter the United Kingdom. Neither the Royal Thai Embassy in London nor the Royal Thai Consulate in Hull are able to help in this process.
Thai nationals living in Thailand can contact the British Embassy in Bangkok to apply for a
visa to visit the UK:-

Alternatively it is possible to submit an application on line through Visa4UK which is the UK Border Agency’s on-line application facility
There are organisations who, for a fee, offer to help people to prepare and submit their
applications for a visa to visit the UK. We do not offer any official information
about such organisations but our advice is to be very cautious before utilising the services of an agent.
I have had a bad experience with these organisations that arrange visa’s, they demand huge fee’s and cannot guarantee a visa. Follow the guidelines as provided by the Border Agency and you wont need these organisations.

If you wish to know more about what is required you can find the link to the Border Agency ( Immigration ) Site in our links section for the UK please note this is separate to VFS Global site
