Changing money into Thai Baht's.

I am speaking mainly about travellers from the UK In this article because it is what I am use to. Although I would recommend anyone not from the UK to check information first.

I have found obtaining Thai Baht from Money Exchange’s in the UK is not very favourable, the rate of exchange is much lower plus sometimes you are charged a fixed fee. Wait until you get to Thailand. You will get a much better rate even at the Airport. Around Thailand you will find many of the Banks have Money Exchange booths around Bangkok. The rate does vary but not by that much, all are still better than any rate you will get in the U.S.

However once in Bangkok I can definitely recommend the following :-

You can obtain money from most ATM machines but the rate will be slightly lower
