Opened in 1992 . Area of course is 800,000 Sq.m. It takes about 3 hours to reach the course from Bangkok by car . The 18 holes are laid out on the narrow hilly fields near the beach . It seems difficult to hit shots keeping on the fairways.

The course has a feel of a "links" due to its seaside location and is surrounded on three sides by forested hills. The natural lie of the land makes for a large angle of elevation on most of the holes, which adds to the interest and challenge of the course. The front nine has a tight layout and puts a premium on accurate tee shots and while back nine is more open, but making par is still tricky. The greens are very fast and feature some deceptively difficult slopes which add to challenge in making par. Be careful if you are on the wrong side of the hole, two putting is almost impossible.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course

In the 2nd decade of the 20th century a Scottish railway engineer by the name of O.A.Robins designed Thailand’s 1st golf course. Opened in 1924 and less than one kilo meter from the centre of town, the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course offers tempting Tee shots for the adventurous &  natural jungle surroundings, as well as views over the gulf of Thailand, making this course a must for any golfer staying in or near Hua Hin.
