Nakhon Pathom  -  is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are ( from north clockwise ) Suphan Buri, Ayutthaya, Nonthaburi, Bangkok, Samut Sakhon, Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi.

The province features an ancient  religious structure called Phra Pathom Chedi, the first religious landmark that signified the influx of Buddhism into Thailand. Nakhon Pathom is also renowned for its abundant fruits varieties and famous dishes. The province is just 56 km from Bangkok.  It is located
